The Crestone Jazz Trio, named after the majestic Crestone Peaks of Colorado, is a jazz piano trio formed at Colorado Christian University. We are three Colorado natives, united by our passion for music and our studies at CCU. Our journey started in CCU’s mainstream jazz ensemble, and in 2024, we officially came together as a trio. Under the mentorship of Professors Ron Bland and Mark Dorn, we continue to refine our musical skills, thanks to the wonderful support from the School of Music at CCU.
Our repertoire is diverse and engaging, featuring timeless classics from the Great American Songbook, mainstream jazz bop, jazz funk and blues, bossa nova, and original tunes. We’ve had the pleasure of performing at events like Chick-fil-A dinner shows and various university social functions. We are available for bookings at weddings, parties, and other private events, bringing our unique sound to each occasion.
Playing music together is a joy we deeply treasure, and we are grateful for the talents God has given us. Every note we play is to His glory.
